      <description>&lt;P&gt;Updates for my TurboTax 2022 keep stalling so I tried to reinstall/Repair and got this error message:&lt;BR /&gt;"The file '_ssc.rabgrp_nommoc_lacol_tib23_rgnerepw' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file 'Data_1.cab'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am using the CD-ROM version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm not sure if this is the proper forum to post this to but it is the only one I could find that allows me to ask any question after searching for 25 minutes.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When you uninstall software it can leave files behind which interferes with the re-install of the software. &amp;nbsp;After you uninstall, try manually uninstalling TurboTax.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for the response but I am not attempting to uninstall the program - only trying to make it work which is why I used the Reinstall/Repair function.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you implying that I should totally uninstall the program then reinstall from CD again?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

And I did empty the recycle bin and I did restart.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;Repair / reinstall&lt;/U&gt; didn't work for me.&amp;nbsp; I used the &lt;U&gt;remove&lt;/U&gt; option instead.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Then I rebooted the computer.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;And finally I did the &lt;U&gt;install&lt;/U&gt; and everything worked just fine, like it was supposed to.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
