Hello I'm trying to figure out what these codes are for in box 14 of my W2. They are NYPSL, NYSDI, NFL, NYP. Thank you for your help.

Employers often make up their own abbreviations and codes for the information they put in Box 14. You may need to ask the employer what they are.

Box 14 is optional information provided by your employer. TurboTax can identify some codes to get you tax benefits. You must check with your employer if you are not sure, but generally:

NYPSL= New York Paid Sick Leave

NYSDI= New York State Disability Insurance

NFL= New York Paid Family Leave

NYP=New York Pension
