topic Federal 1040 rejection in Get your taxes done using TurboTax

My federal (and thus state) return has been rejected for the third because, as I'm told, "SH-F1040-520-01 - Schedule H (Form 1040), 'EmployerEIN' and 'EmployerNameControlTxt' must match data in the e-File database." Yet I believe that I've corrected the error, which I was told by phone conversation with an IRS agent a week ago was caused because I'd used an EIN number cancelled by the IRS for not having been used in some years. So I have manutally entered the new EIN which I received a week ago. And repeated error checks say that there are no errors in either my federal or state returns. That is, the Turbotax system is not sensing an error. I can of course simply print and mail the returns. But is there any way to make it through the e-filing screens so that I can avoid the mail-in option?
