I received an email confirmation TURBOTAX DESKTOP STATE RETURN TAX YEAR 2022 E-FILE, paid by credit card, does that mean my tax returns have been e-filed? The TurboTax program didn't acknowledge it after completing the necessary information to e-file my returns!

That sounds like it's the receipt for paying for your state e-file fee. You can check your filing history and confirm your e-file status by following the below steps:

With your return open, click on the File tab at the top of your TurboTax software;
Scroll down to Electronic Filing then select Check Electronic Filing Status or Show Electronic Filing Status History.

Paying the state e-filing fee and actually e-filing the state return are two completely different things. Until you click the big orange TRANSMIT MY RETURNS NOW button, nothing has been e-filed.
