1) Online software? Can't

2) MAC computer? Not sure you can....but see if #3 might be available to work.

3) Windows Computer? Go up to the "Online" menu item at the top of the Desktop software screen. Select "Updater Preferences" from the drop down menu.

......Then from that , you can select either : 3a) "Always Ask...." , or 3b) "I do not have an internet connection".

(I always choose 3b....even if I have an internet connection...because I can use the same main dropdown "Online" menu to force an update by selecting "Check for Updates"....when I want to do an update )

For a MAC you need to disconnect from the internet before you turn on the program to stop the auto updates.
