Transmit Returns Now button will not work

I have tried unsuccessfully for 3 days to transmit my return. I am using TT 2022 Home and Business software for windows 10 desktop. I hit the TRANMIT RETURNS NOW button and the little rotating circle comes up and then.....................nothing! I've hit that button 50 times. I've cleared my cashe, cookies, whatever on two browsers. I've updated my windows software. I've checked for turbo tax updates. ALL UP TO DATE! I've even downloaded the software on another computer and transferred the tax file to that computer. It did the very same thing. Nothing is working. I have a haunch. I think the software file I downloaded is bad. That is the only thing that makes sense to me. Especially since I get the same result on the two different computers. Can someone please tell me a solution to this?

If you've enabled pop-up blocking in your web browser, please turn it off and try again.

The TurboTax FAQ What if Transmit Returns doesn't work? has other suggestions. If you can’t e-file no matter what, you can still print and mail your return.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately after disabling both chrome and edge pop up blockers, the transmit return button still does not work. I have no idea why this is happening. Thanks again for input though. I am trying everything.

Here's something that's pretty quick to try. It may or may not make any difference.

Since you are using desktop software, see if it's a screen resolution or scaling problem in your Windows settings. Those settings are known to at times cause other problems with the desktop software. It can't hurt to try.

In Windows 10 to get to the scaling and resolution settings click the Windows start button in lower left corner, then choose Settings (gear icon), then System, then Display. Or for a shortcut, you may be able to simply right-click on an empty area of the main Windows desktop monitor screen (not the TurboTax program screen) and in the popup menu choose "Display settings".

NOTE: After you change the scaling or resolution setting as discussed below, you may need to close and relaunch TurboTax for the change to take place.

First try the scaling setting. In your Windows Settings do you have scale set to a higher value than the normal 100%? If so, change it back to 100%. Then try to submit the return again.

If lowering the scaling to 100% didn't help, then it may be screen resolution. Keep the scaling at 100%, and try a lower screen resolution such as 800x600. If that doesn't work, then try 1024x768. If still not working, then gradually increase the screen resolution to the next level.

Also, you said you tried 2 computers. Did the 2 computers go through the same modem and router? Maybe your modem and router need resetting. Or if you are using a wireless connection, are you able to try instead with a wired Ethernet connection?

I just plugged in the ethernet cable. No dice. The button does the same thing. Nothing. Thank you for the suggestion.

What about a VPN? Are you using a VPN on the 2 computers? If so, and if you can securely do so, have you tried transmitting without using the VPN?

Thanks for the suggestion on the VPN. However, neither computer is using a VPN during the tax return transmission. I;ve talked with about 10 techs and countless specialsits. No cigar. It's 4th and about 90 yards, so I'm gonna punt. Thanks to all of the community for the help.

On a side note, I used TT Self Employed online and it went through on the first go., And it was cheaper AND easier!!! What the heck have I been thinking for 15 years. Thanks again everyone!!!!
