no kidding, no idea how i ended up with 2 accounts! and it appears i have paid for 2022 twice, just like in 2020. I purchase the software at costco, or another physical store, and then end up having to pay for the on-line version. more than happy to go to HR Block!

I have been a Turbo Tax user for years. Every year prior to this one, when I would start Turbo Tax, they would research the prior years return and know all my personal information and fill it in for me. They would also prompt me for my expenses from each instution knowing I had them in the prior year. This year, even though they researched my 2019 return, they didn't do that. I had to enter everything by hand. How come? This feature is why I use Turbo Tax every year. I as very disappointed with the loss of this feature.

Last years transfer works fine. Are you using online or CD/download?

Online - you must be in the same account that has the 2019 tax return - many people have more then one account.

Desktop - it TurboTax cannot find the 2019 .tax file then you must manually point it to that file.

If you installed the purchased software on your personal computer, why in the world did you go to the TurboTax online editions to complete your tax return? There is no reason access the online editions if you have already installed the software on your computer. Why did you just not start the tax return using the software that was installed?

I have been using the TurboTax software for almost 30 years and at no time ever went to the online editions to complete a tax return.
