I failed to check the "Use a tax return that's on my computer" to upload 2021 return into 2022. I am almost done with 2022 and discovered I have no tax history. Can I somehow bring the 2021 data into my current file after the fact? Please don't tell me I have to start over.

Sorry---but that is what you would have to do. The transfer of the 2021 tax file into the new 2022 return has to be done at the very beginning ----before you enter any new 2022 data. So....you now have the choice of starting over and performing that transfer---or just leaving it as it is without any of the 2021 information.

Thanks xmasbaby0.

I see that you are a level 15 so I doubt there is another answer better than yours. Grateful but sad.

Coach428
