Hello.....I am working off of a PC running Windows 10. Whenever I try to open Turbotax I am prompted to update. When I do, I get an error that says Microsoft Installer Error 1316 and at that point it does not let me into Turbotax. I have tried to do a manual download from Turbotax and I am still having the same issue.

Does anyone have any insight how to fix this?

I have the same issue. I am going to call Intuit and see what their thoughts are. Very annoying

I have windows 10 and I can’t open turbo tax because of a 1316 turbo tax error

How did you fix this error? I'm getting it on the 2023 Turbotax.
