Cannot efile 2022 Business Returns

Hi,

I am trying to efile the Fed + NYS for an LLC/Partnership and i get the dreaded message:

The Inuit Electronic Filing System is having difficulty recognizing the data in the return you are sending. Make sure your Turbotax program is up to date . . . In some cases, you may need to file this return by mail. - Tax Year 2022 transmissions are not available - Turbotax Business is not ready to process Tax Year 2022 for this return.

In reading prior article on this, is it because NYS is not ready to accept the IT-204 yet?????? Turbotax business says there are no errors.

It appears as if many of the forms are not yet available (and are scheduled to be available on 3/3/2023).

Some forms aren't available until 3/3 when its due 3/15?? Unbelievable.

Guess I'll wait. I assume the Fed could be filed now on its own if I wanted to?

Turbotax business says the NY partnership return can't be efiled until 3/10/23. This is idiotic. If NY doesn't have the forms available to efile by the 3/15 deadline, what happens to NY's mandate that it has to be efiled? Will NY grant a summary extension of the deadline to file to 3/31 or 4/15 because their programmers can't get the stuff ready in time?

Is the inability to efile NYS due to TT or NYS?

If there is another delay tomorrow, what am I, and everyone else, supposed to do?

I'm assuming you mean Form 1120S. There are no delays with the federal returns for an S-Corp. If you still can't file you can post the error message you are getting here and we will do our best to help you out.

I tried to E-file my federal 1120-S return today and got a message that some form(s) were unavailable for e-file and I should mail my return. Unfortunately there was no specifics on what was wrong. My return is very simplistic and the same as last year. I went into the “Forms” view and on the 1120-S form the box for “amended return” was checked. Not sure how this happened. I unchecked the box and was then able to E-File. I went back through the interview questions and couldn’t find where this parameter was selected. Odd.
