Could someone tell me what this means? I don't recall checking the "difficulty of care payments exclusion box has been checked." Where do I go to uncheck the box?

This experience has been reported to our technical support staff for investigation. In the meantime, you can try going to Forms and opening the 1099-MISC Wks related to this income. There may be a box under Box 18 that you can uncheck (Medicare Difficulty of Care). This is only available in TurboTax for Desktop.

This option appears on a 1099-MISC entry screen titled "Does one of these uncommon situations apply?" near the end of the list. If you're unable to uncheck the box (or the box doesn't appear), you can also try deleting the 1099-MISC and entering it again. Be careful which choice you make on the uncommon situations page. This option may work in TurboTax Online as well.
