Transmit Refund error message

Hello,

I am getting the following error message when I hit the Transmit Returns Now button:

Refund Transfer payment method isn't available right now.

You have missed the deadline. E-filing is closed permanently for 2019 returns. You need to print, sign and mail your return now.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

Note---that also means you cannot pay your TurboTax fees from your federal refund. In order to print your return for mailing you have to pay your fees upfront using a debit/credit card.

Please see the attached link for the address to use to mail your federal return. The address does depend upon your state of residence.

Often the state forms will print out with the address you need to mail it to, or you can check on the state's tax web site:

The same thing is happening in February of 2022. Seems to be no recourse. Full message as follows: "Refund Transfer payment method isn't available right now. To finish e-filing your return, select the option to pay with your credit card or try again later". This has been happening for 3 days now and nothing has changed. All the federal and state checks passed with flying colors and the only thing for be to do is send to IRS. Does anyone know if TurboTax files can be imported into H&R Block Software? Now you know I am desperate.

This is also a problem with the 2023 program. Can anyone tell me if this is a software problem or a 3rd party hand-off problem?
