The program is broken. I have used turbo tax for three different years and it never lets me e-file. In the end I always have to print out the return and mail it in. I WON'T ever use this program again. I could have done it for free in half the time. The whole point of using Turbo Tax was so that I could e-file. I am DONE

What message do you get when you try to e-file? Is it a transmission issue, is the e-file being rejected, or is it something else?

@blahh Then sorry------if nothing works and you cannot e-file successfully, the only way to file is by mail.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
