      <description>&lt;P&gt;I can only surmise from your question that you are asking about a 1099-G for gambling winnings. &amp;nbsp;If there is no date listed, enter an approximate date the winning occurred. &amp;nbsp;For the most part, the IRS and state agencies are only interested in the totals but if all information is necessary to file, then an approximation, in this case a date, is acceptable.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
