Why would TT say he qualifies as my dependent in one section, then say "It turns out you don't qualify for these credits" in the actual Child Tax Credit deduction section? According to TT, he doesn't qualify: "Because he had another disqualifying situation, (he) doesn't count for the Child Tax Credit." I have no idea why, help? I then added my son back in from scratch... and magically the child tax credit was applied.
