I just want to be clear before filing my taxes. I don't own a business nor consider myself self-employed, but was given the 1099 NEC for working part-time. So this income needs to be reported on Schedule C as if I am self employed? I am confused with all these questions - materially participated, etc... I don't know which questions I am actually supposed to answer.
