      <description>&lt;P&gt;IF you bought the CD, but want to (or need to) downlaod the tax software installation file instead.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You must use the link in step #1 of this FAQ to get to the special download area for those who bought the CD;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/product-delivery/bought-cd-computer-cd-drive/L89qXCL4V_US_en_US?uid=le30hrfl" target="_blank"&gt;I bought the CD, but my computer doesn't have a CD drive (intuit.com)&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;____________&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You didn't indicate this...but you cannot use the purchased CD/code to pay for the Browser-based software.&amp;nbsp; Those are two entirely different software and pay systems.&amp;nbsp; You bought the CD at Costco...you are supposed to be using the software installed (from the CD, or a download installation file) on your home computer (full MAC or Windows PC)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Did you buy the CD from Costco?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Use the download method instead of the CD. It has more advantages over the CD. Here are my steps…..&lt;BR /&gt;Paused AntiVirus Protection&lt;BR /&gt;Go to installturbotax.com&lt;BR /&gt;Log into my account&lt;BR /&gt;Enter Code, it didn't look like it was formatting it right but I waited and it put the dashes in the right places&lt;BR /&gt;Download showed up in my Account&lt;BR /&gt;I first clicked on the little blue "copy code"&lt;BR /&gt;Then clicked on the big Window Download button&lt;BR /&gt;It downloaded the exe file in the bottom left, then I clicked on it to start the install&lt;BR /&gt;Launch TurboTax&lt;BR /&gt;Do Updates - took a long time but it updated&lt;BR /&gt;But it didn't restart. Didn't restart last year either&lt;BR /&gt;So clicked on desktop icon to launch&lt;BR /&gt;When the Activation box came up I just did Ctrl+V to paste the License Code that was still in my clipboard. It worked!&lt;BR /&gt;Turn Anti Virus back on&lt;BR /&gt;Start New Return and Transferred from 2021&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I USUALLY DO MY OWN TAX RETURN ON PAPER. THIS YEAR I BOUGHT THE CD FROM COSTCO AND TRIED TO USE DOWNLOAD INSTUCTIONS. I MADE AND OPENED NEW INTUIT ACCOUNT AND BEGAN ANSWERING SEVERAL QUESTIONS. IT NEVER HAS ASKED ME FOR MY LICENSE CODE. SHOULD I CONTINUE OR DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG.
