The opening screen asks you if you want to REVIEW Schedule K-1.

Well, this is a poorly written part of the program. It forces you to fill out or edit an entire K-1(or at least the name and address of the partnership) before you reach a page where you can delete the page in question. These pages should be listed where at asks you what kind of partnership you want to deal with Q, K-1 etc and to review the existing forms from the prior year if you would like. When I did this, having to pretend that I wanted to keep the form, I was able to answer my own question.

Please follow these steps to delete the K-1.

On the menu bar on the left that shows.
1. My Info
2. Federal
3. State
4. Review
5. File
Select Tax Tools
On the drop-down select Tools
On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
This will give you all of the forms in your return.
Scroll down to the form you want to delete.
Select the Form K-1
Click on Delete.
Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return. There could be unintended consequences.

Actually last year you should have indicated that that was the FINAL K-1 form then the shell form would not have transferred and you would not have this issue this year.

If you delete just the Schedule K-1, it will regenerate if associated worksheets are still in the return.

The proper way to delete an unwanted K-1 is from the K-1 Summary screen, which also removes the associated worksheets.

Open or continue your return in TurboTax, if you haven't already.
Using the search feature in the upper right, search for K-1 and select the Jump to link in the search results.
Answer Yes to Did you receive any Schedules K-1 or Q? Select this even if the correct answer is no.
Select Update next to the type of K-1 you initially entered (partnership/LLC, S corp, or estate/trust).
On the K-1 Summary screen, select Delete next to the K-1 you want to remove. Answer Yes on the following screen.
Select Done.
If necessary, repeat steps 4–7 for other K-1s you need to remove.
