Turbotax Not Printing Form 1116 AMT

Hi, I am hoping someone can help.

I have two categories of Foreign Tax Credit (FTC) and TT includes the "base" Form 1116 for each category, General and Passive, and the Schedule B for each (base) Form 1116. HOWEVER, it does not include the two (2) corresponding forms "Form 1116 AMT" for printing nor their corresponding Schedules B even though I have carryovers from previous years.

Note that "Form 1116 AMT" does exist within TT for both categories <I can "Open Form" search and open them> and the data is included in them, but TT does not want to print them.

I feel their inclusion in my filing is entirely appropriate based upon every previous tax year filing of mine (across multiple tax prep platforms and accountancies) do include those forms, nothing was different for me in 2022, and those forms exist and have the relevant data within TT.

Please help!

It would be helpful to have a TurboTax ".tax2022" file that is experiencing this issue.

You can send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information.  If you would like to do this, here are the instructions:

Go to the black panel on the left side of your program and select Tax Tools.

Then select Tools below Tax Tools.
A window will pop up which says Tools Center.
On this screen, select Share my file with Agent.
You will see a message explaining what the diagnostic copy is.  Click okay through this screen and then you will get a Token number.
Reply to this thread with your Token number. This will allow us to open a copy of your return without seeing any personal information.

We will then be able to see exactly what you are seeing and we can determine what exactly is going on in your return and provide you with a resolution.

@hikingnola @AliciaP1 It seems I have the same issue now! Did you guys find a way to make turbotax include form 1116 AMT (and most importantly schedule B)?
