You can still receive your second and third stimulus payments — but only if you file original or amended 2020 and 2021 income tax returns.

The IRS is no longer sending out stimulus payments. You’ll need to file original or amended past year tax returns. The amounts will be added to your refund as a Recovery Rebate Credit.

Before you file, check your IRS online account to see if the payments were sent.

Since you received the first payment but not the others, it’s possible the others were lost. If that’s the case, you’ll have to contact IRS at 1-800-829-1040. They won’t add duplicate payments to a tax return.

You can only prepare the current tax year online in TurboTax. To file prior year returns, buy the prior year programs and install them on your computer.

Go to File your 2021 taxes and File your 2020 taxes.

If you used TurboTax in 2020 and/or 2021 you can amend your return for free.

if your AGI was over 80K (single) you did not qualify for stimulus #2.
