hi, purchased turbotax 2022 Premier CD from retailer (BJs, Costco, Samsclub, Walmart) but my CD drive not responding? i remember approx 700 MB size install-able file/package previously

-is there a place I can download 2022 Premier version of retailer CD and use my license code?

Yes. Use the download method instead of the CD. It has more advantages over CD. Then you can also download it another computer. Once you install the CD you can't install it again like if you need to reinstall the program or install on a different computer.

There should be a card in the CD case on on the CD envelope that says how to download it and you will need the 14 or 16 digit code from it to enter.

Yes, computer has 8 GB RAM which way high (2 GB on the box mentioned) than needed, also 167 GB free disk on C:drive intel-i7 Windows 10. Also I have a license key. CD drive worked well for 2021, 2020 Premier install and prior, some reason this time not detected properly.

Followed the process yesterday but received 2 error messages

1st message: "server busy unable to validate. please try again" some thing like this

2nd time message: "license code is tied up with turbotax account. please check download section"

but no software download button/link shows up in mydownlads.turbotax.intuit.com tab of my account

Since yesterday no change in status. I could see 2019 year previous software but not 2022 Premier version
