If you are logging in to the same account that you had last year all of your prior year information should be immediately available. Are you certain that you logged in to the account that you used to do last year's taxes?

I always use the CD. In the past it has always automatically done the download from the previous year, saving a huge amount of time.

This year, nothing.

Be sure when you begin your return, you don't select Continue, as transferring is only available on new, empty returns. If you have already started on your return and would like to delete it to start over from scratch, following the instructions in our FAQ on how to delete a created return in Windows.

Then follow these instructions on how to import your 2021 tax return information into your new one.

"Continue" was not an option. I downloaded the software from the CD. I started a "New" return. I was never asked to download last year's information. As such, I had to reenter all the information that normally was brought in from previous years. At this point it is no longer of any use to delete and start over.

You would need to follow the instructions here to transfer the information into Turbo Tax.
