I just got a new laptop. I do not want to purchase 2022 TurboTax again, as I'm mid-way through my filing preparations. I downloaded the software - don't have a CD - so can I download the software again on the new computer?

You can download the CD/download software to any five computers that YOU own, so it is okay to put it on your new one. You say that you are partway through preparing your tax return. The tax file is only stored on the hard drive of your old computer. It is not stored online. So when you start working on it using the new computer you need to move the data to the new computer via a flash drive or some sort of back up device.
