You are probably trying to import too soon. Usually financial institutions have the information online for you to view or print earlier than they have it ready for importing into the tax software. It is often about mid-February before you can import 1099R's, 1099B's , etc.

Same issue here with the desktop software version. Read that sometimes there is delay in availability of import even after PNC issues PDF's to clients. Contacted my banker- will followup if I hear anything.

Instead of identifying PNC as your institution, try using National Financial. National Financial is "processing" PNC's accounts. This worked for other users.

Already tried that without success. Use PNC Private Banking and my rep said that they changed clearinghouses this past year and there will be no link, so have to just do manual input of total gains, dividends, and interest. The only pain was putting in the states for municipal bond interest, and manually adding up per state. No difference for online or downloaded TurboTax.
