It's supposed to be displayed in the "PAYER'S name…" box...

It's supposed to be displayed in the "PAYER'S name…" box in the upper left-hand corner of Form 1099-G, but sometimes the payer doesn't include it.

If it's not there, you can do an online search to find it.
