When you file does it give you any specific error?

You can view the forms availability here to confirm that one of the forms you are using is not ready.

Found out the state wasn’t quite ready yet and announced opening for e-file on February 3rd but I was able to file yesterday already.

Officially, North Carolina is not accepting returns until February 3, 2023. All delays should be eliminated on that date.

@JosephS1 I did file NC yesterday, they will start processing on the 3rd.

OF course, with the various NC tax returns already filed & waiting, it might take a few days for the NCDOR computers to get to them all.
