I'm receiving error code SCNTY-019-01. Turbotax program is not helping me fix my return or having me change anything. It wants me to file by mail now. Any ideas?

I've tried to e-file twice. Both times were almost instantly rejected. I follow the prompts from the notification email to fix my return, but it just tries to have me file again. I'm really trying to avoid filing by mail. I can just see getting rejected again in a couple months. This is my first time filing a state return.

When you select Fix return, does it provide any specific instructions when signing in?

I followed the link in the email to fix my return. It did not prodivde and instructions or walk me through any changes or fixes. 5he program just said everything looked good and prompted me to e-file again.

If I follow the link now, it takes me to a screen that says my return is ready to mail. I'm not able to change anything. I don't want to mail my return because I feel it is still incorrect. The TurboTax program is sort of letting me down here. What can I do? Is there a way to start over?

We may need additional information relating to the rejection code.

Please revisit the way you enter your address in Personal Information or in My Info on the Federal return. Review the address to make sure you did not choose for example a foreign address.

You may also delete your State and file your Federal without the State. Once your Federal is accepted you can log back into your TurboTax account and add your State.

Below are steps to follow to delete and add your State.

To Delete Your State

Sign in and open a section of your return
From the menu, select State and then select Continue on the Let's get your state taxes done right screen
On the Status of your state returns screen, select Delete next to your state, then answer Yes

To add your State later

TurboTax Online

Sign in to TurboTax...
Now select Add a state (this reopens your return) ...
Select State from the left menu.
On the Let's get your state taxes done right screen, select Continue and follow the instructions.

This worked. I deleted the state return and was able to start over. I must have entered something really wrong. I was getting back a significant amount, but now owe a small amount.
