Yeah, I'm having the same problem whenever I try to file state OR federal—looks like they're probably getting a huge amount of traffic, and the site can't handle it. Unless somebody else has a better idea, I can only suggest that you keep trying, over and over... or else wait until the middle of the night when demand is much lighter. :(

Note: I was just informed by a customer service representative that TurboTax Online will NOT work correctly with the Safari browser, only with Chrome. I've never heard that before, never seen it communicated anywhere on their site, and have successfully used TurboTax for the past 7 years on Safari (like tens of millions of other Mac users out there).

Not sure this answer is relevant to the original poster on this thread, but hope it's helpful to someone!

You may want to try a different browser or try clearing out your browser's cache and cookies. Please see How do I delete cookies? and How to clear your cache for more information.

Yeah I've been trying for 2 days now & once I hit "ready to file" nothing happens. I filed my federal just fine last week. I also have been using turbo tax for years and never had an issue. I use chrome & have cleared cache & everything. Idk guess I'll just have to keep trying & hope it works eventually

Yes. I have restarted the computer and the program and Turbo Tax 2024 pages are not loading.

Try doing a manual update. Follow these steps:

If you're having trouble updating your TurboTax 2024 for Windows Individual software using the "Check for Updates" method, here are instructions for how you can get the latest federal program update:

Close TurboTax and all other programs except this browser window.
Select this link to download the 319 MB update.
Save the update file to your Windows desktop.
Double-click the update file w_perrelsuperpatch... on your desktop to install the manual update.

We don't offer manual updates for TurboTax state software. If you need to update your state, here are your options.

It would be a good idea to call them directly on the phone. If you have enough patience, you will get to speak to a live person and he or she will walk you through the process.
