The Other Dependent Credit is $500.

If your filing status is single without claiming her, you may be able to claim Head of Household if you claim her. This would increase your Standard Deduction from $12,950 to $19,400 which would decrease your taxable income by $6,450.

it would appear that you mother would be your dependent so you can claim her, what's more since she's your parent if you paid over 50% of the parents household expenses (their separate home) or resided with you for more than 6 months in a calendar year and you paid at least 50% of the cost of keeping up yjis household you can file as head of household.
