      <description>&lt;P&gt;My parents were both my dependents for years.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They both passed away this year, dad, February, 2022 and mom, August, 2022.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can I still claim them this year?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, I will be receiving monies from their estate via a check?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do I need to claim this?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please advise.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
