Nevada does not have an income tax, so that issue is off the table.

If you are a resident of Nevada and work in CA, you will be taxed on your income earned in CA as a non-resident. There are no expenses associated with this situation that you are able to deduct. Most Miscellaneous Deductions were taken away at the end of the 2017 tax year.
