Does TurboTax Deluxe desktop include IRS instructions?

Is there a way to see IRS instructions for a particular form or schedule inside of TurboTax desktop or are the instructions only available outside of TurboTax? If available inside of TT, how do I access? TIA.

Sometimes, TTX provides some links to some brief instructions.....but the tax software is intended to be done using an interview, and then the software provides the proper calculations.

The main difference between Online & Desktop software is that in Desktop, you can switch to the forms to see what's in them ....but entering $$ directly on the forms can lead to MAJOR software errors, so following the interview is critical.

If brief instructions are available inside TT, how are those instructions accessed?? Link will appear?

There may be extracts of instructions in TurboTax.

The full instructions on each form are available on the IRS website.

Within TurboTax software, there is a blue colored link alongside many menu items that you can click on

Either a "?" or a "Learn More"
