HSA Personal Contributions Amount

On the tab "let's enter your HSA Contributions", there is a question that asks "Any contributions you personally made (not through your employer)?" does that mean I add up the amounts in boxes 12a + 12b + 12c + 12d and put that cumulative amount in the TurboTax box?

I should note my W-2 has four different amounts under the "box 12" title and I'm confused if those are considered contributions I made. I also noted that box 12c has the code "W" meaning it was employer contributed, so for my personal contributions would I add 12a + 12b + 12d (omitting 12c) and place the cumulative amount in the TurboTax box?

No, this question means any contributions made to your HSA but NOT through your employer. Were you aware that you have two ways to put money in your HSA: through your employer by payroll deduction and by sending money directly to your HSA (i.e., not through your employer but through the mail or whatever).

NOTE: the code W amount refers to is the sum of what your employer contributed PLUS what you contributed by payroll deduction.

What the question is asking is "did you make any other contributions to your HSA other than what's listed on your W-2?"
