No. You cannot file a joint tax return unless you are legally married. You do not file a joint return with GF or BF.

If you have children, one of you may claim the child(ren) and file as Head of Household, and the other one files as Single. No children....you both file Single.

You can’t file together. But if you lived together all year and you provided more than half of her support and she had less than $4,400 in taxable income she could be claimed as your dependent.
