      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you are thinking the garnishment is not taxable but it is. &amp;nbsp;It should be included in box 1. &amp;nbsp; What is it for? &amp;nbsp;Some things might be a deduction if you itemize. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, it's taxable income. &amp;nbsp;It's the same as if you received the entire amount of your wages and then wrote a check for the money you owed. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
