I purchased a Costco copy of 2022 TurboTax Premier version and installed and activated it via CD to my desktop with no issues. Then I wanted to download the program to my laptop which does not have CD drive. Unfortunately, I got a message “This license code has already been associated with an account. Please check that account and look for it in Downloads.” Since I was not asked to sign in to my account when I installed to desktop , now it won’t allow me to connect to an existing account for additional activations. Please help.

If you installed from the CD it seems you can not download it from online now. You can't do both CD and download. See the new info on this FAQ

If you have a computer with a CD drive or know someone, you can copy the CD contents to a usb flash drive. I'm not sure how that works. Find a windows computer to copy the CD to a usb drive. See SteamTrains post here

Tech support is NOT available 7 days a week. This is frustrating. I just opened the package and I'm also getting the error: "This license code has already been associated with an account. Please check that account and look for it in Downloads."

Is your system broken or just easily hackable?

Seeing that message tells me it's easy to steal information from your system.

If you are unable to reach Customer Support, you can take it to Sam's Club and exchange it for another one.
