If your TurboTax fees are higher than expected, you can reduce them by removing add-ons:

Remove Premium Services
Remove MAX Defend & Restore
Remove a state
Remove PLUS Help & Support
Remove Pay With Your Refund

@crazy_clarinet-g Removing the Premium Services means you will have to pay your TurboTax fees upfront using a credit or debit card. You will not be able to pay your fees from your federal refund.
