      <description>&lt;P&gt;with the desktop you can prepare and e-file 5 separate returns. if your son's state has an income tax you'll have to also purchase an additional state. remember to save each return as a separate file (different file name)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes----with your CD/download you can prepare and e-file up to five federal e-files and state returns.&amp;nbsp; If you need an additional different state for your son you will need to pay the $45 fee for that state software.&amp;nbsp; And of course, with the CD/download there is always a fee to e-file state returns.&amp;nbsp; Since your son lives elsewhere, you might want to print out his copy for him to sign and mail.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
