I am leaving my job and MUST transfer my Workforce login over to my personal email, which I tried to do. Now I am locked out of both. Please help.

We cannot help with your Workforce login....sorry. We have nothing to do with that. As for your TurboTax account, use the recovery tool.

You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Start a 2022 return online and enter some personal information so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURN !

EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records. That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

Going forward .... NEVER use a work email for anything personal since you can see the result. AND never use your cable/internet's email either for the same reason ... if you switch providers you lose access to the email account.

@alyson-greene-f5 "I am leaving my job.." Make sure the employer knows where to send your 2022 W-2. Seek help from Human Resources at your job to resolve the issue with the workforce login. If you quit the job, you may not have access --- but ask them for help with it. At the very least they have to provide you with your W-2.
