FYI... Just spent 2 hours doing pre-work on 2022 TT Premier. After hitting review, the software shutdown without saving any of my information. Anyone else? Now I am worried about doing my actual return without constantly saving. Should I delete the software and re-download?

The CD/Download (installed) versions of the software are set to autosave about every 10 minutes (more or less).

The autosaved files typically have a tilde preceding the filename so look for that (e.g., ~2022 YourName Form 1040 Individual Tax Return.tax2022).

Nahh, I'd wait until after this week's software update...usually available Thursday or Friday.

Then try a few minor entries on a new file, save once, and run the review then to see what happens...if it happens again, then try an uninstall/reinstall. (If you originally installed as a download installation file (not from an actual CD), get a new one because they update the installation files regularly to eliminate any "issues" (bugs?) they discovered as time progressed.

Yes, save occasionally on your own. Sometimes the software creates a Temp file you can use after an unusual shutdown....files starts with a tilde "~"....but that may depend on you having saved the current file at least once early-on....but this early in the software, I'm sure they are still discovering bugs (especially for those using the new Windows 11)
