YOu can copy the downloaded installation file to a USB thumb drive and transfer it that way. Or you can just log into your TurboTax account from the new computer, and download it to the new computer.

You cannot move the installed software on the old computer to the new computer. You will have to download the 2022 software to the new computer so it can be installed.

You can download the TurboTax software as often as needed for up to three years from the date of purchase. The software can be installed on up to 5 computers that you own.

I downloaded the software, but when it is started the license code is entered it says all activations have been used. Not sure how to get through it. Thanks

Contact TurboTax support for this problem, they can issue you another license code.

I no longer have access on the old computer to download files. How do I get a link for my 2020 sw so I can continue to work my ammended filing?

If you purchased the 2020 software as a download from TurboTax you need to sign onto your download account and download the software to the new computer - https://shopping.turbotax.intuit.com/unified/downloads?route=myaccounts&cgcview=downloads

If you are referring to the 2020 tax data files for the 2020 tax return those would be on the computer where the tax return was created.

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
