Copies of what? Your tax return? Tax returns created by tax software are only black and white. There is no color to print.

The colored tax forms used to be helpful to the IRS when there was a 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ to make the paper sorting process easier. Although now the 1040 & 1040SR have different background colors on the IRS web site the color coding is no longer needed for manual processing. All DIY programs do not print colored backgrounds and as stated they are no longer necessary.
