hello and thanks in advance for the advice.

Received letter asking for to send 1040 and in support of line 25d to attach W-2 and 1099-R. I faxed all info requested including signed copy of 1040 with original Sept signature date. IRS sent Forme3531 with box 9 checked(Form1040 is blank/illegible,etc. Resubmit completed form with applicable attachments. Your original signature is required. Question: Do I sign with today's date or sign with the date I had on original 1040 (sept)? Form3531 from IRS also had attached the W-2 form i submitted in Sept stapled to 1040form copy. And 1040Form they sent had IRS stramp "Returned for Signature 11/15". Pls confirm if I mail back signed 1040(with Sept submit date), attach W-2 forms that I don't need to send anything else. Send back everything that constitues your return with an INK signature as requested.
