I keep getting an error when trying to fix my return. It was rejected due to EIN number being wrong. But when I hit fix I keep getting error message. I have changed browsers, cleared cache and cookies. Help!

Stop hitting FIX and instead scroll down and click on ADD A STATE to open the return then you can maneuver to the place needing to be corrected. You have until 10/22/22 to fix and resubmit the return.

Thanks… I tried that but got the same oops message. I will just try again later and see if it correct itself. My taxes were denied when filed because of an EID wrong number it says but I can’t get into it to try and fix and refile.
