I would think that when asking someone for a refund or for help, it would probably be best to lock up the refund/help first before telling someone they are "awful." So when you phone Customer Support, I wouldn't start the conversation off like that. Just a tip. It's not easy to get a refund for Online TurboTax, so plead your best case when you call.

If a robot answers to triage you, say something like "speak to representative for a billing issue." You may have to say it more than once.

you may not see it on 4/22 some banks take a day or 2 to clear deposits even from the iRS

her 2024 AGI is from line 11 of whatever original return she filed for 2024. If she filed separately or was not married and filed late - after 10/15/2025, try 0. Otherwise, it's line 11 from her joint return. if that doesn't work, you'll probably have to file by mail

Same fees were deducted from state and federal

Your 2024 tax return shows your 2024 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) If you filed a joint return then the AGI is the same for each of you.

You didn't mention the particular state, but here's some information about state refunds in general and how to check on yours.

First, you need to be sure your state return was successfully filed. If you efiled, be sure your efiled state return was accepted. If you used Online TurboTax, you can check by looking at the Tax Home in your Online account.

Or did you choose to file by mail instead? TurboTax does not mail it for you. If you chose that method, you have to print, sign, date, and mail it.

The FAQ below tells how to check on a state refund. When you scroll down further there, you will see a link for your state to get to its refund lookup tool. Some state revenue department websites have a FAQ section or info on their refund lookup page that tells about how long it takes in that particular state.

After checking all of the above, if your processing is taking longer than the usual time frame for your state, you can phone your state department of revenue's customer service to see if they can tell you the reason for the delay.

Is this how you have been trying to reach the Colorado DOR? If so, it also says you can schedule a callback as one of the options.

Unfortunately you can’t restore the tax file from a pdf. You would have to recreate your tax return.

I am having the same issues that you have described.

I submitted my return after seeing the file on the PC.

I didn't have time to review a printed version before sending in the file.

When I return to the file for printing, the Print Preview is blank for the 1099-x.

The .pdf is also blank when viewing.

But,... I then tried to PRINT the selected file.

Guess what, the printer's preview before printing, displays the proper 1099-x form for printing!!?!

I bought a new computer and installed Home/Business 2025. I completed and efiled the taxes. Then the computer crashed and had to be reset to factory settings. I reinstalled Turbo Tax. Can I restore from the PDF backup I have?

While within 21 days is the most common scenario, a significant number of returns do not finish processing in 21 days. Here's how to start checking:

First, if you efiled, be sure your efiled return was accepted. If using Online TurboTax, you can check at the Tax Home page.

If that showed your return was accepted, you can track your Federal refund at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool. Is there any message there?

If you filed a paper return by mail, it can take up to 4 weeks just to show up in that tool.

Also, is your refund supposed to come directly from the IRS, or did you choose any option that uses a third-party bank to first receive the funds, such as "pay fees out of refund", the "up to 5 days early" offer, or Refund Advance?

I followed the advice on filling out the column B if it shows 0 on my form. I received a letter from the IRS stating that the values they have do not match. What do I do?
