Yes, you can enter your SSA-1099 in TurboTax. If you have no other income to report then your social security will generally not be taxable, unless you are filing married filing separately. Then it becomes 85% taxable. If you have other income or are married filing separately you can enter your SSA-1099 by doing the following
- Click Federal
- Wages & Income
- See all income
- Scroll down to retirement click show more
- Click start next to SSA-1099
- Answer the questions and enter your SSA-1099
