Would any tax breaks apply if lost job during covid and had to take early retirement withdrawal to avoid losing home and be able to provide for family?

This wouldnt qualify for taking out money for a disaster correct? Can you spread the amount out over more than this past tax year and how?

Sorry, there are no exceptions due to Covid-19 for a withdrawal from a retirement account in 2021.  Nor can the distribution be spread over 3 years.  That option was only for Covid-19 withdrawals in 2020.

The tax breaks for Coronavirus-related retirement distributions only apply to eligible distributions made between January 1 and december 31, 2020.

They do not apply to distributions made in 2021. The taxation of these distributions cannot be spread over several years, and if you are under 59 1/2 and no exception applies, they are also subject the 10% early withdrawal penalty.
