Why wasn't I prompted to report income from a form 1099-G

I received a credit of $773 last year and got a form 1099-G. Where should I report it?

Why did you get the 1099G? What box is the amount in? For a state refund you got last year or unemployment or a grant, etc?

There are several kinds of 1099G's and they are entered in different parts of the software. What did you receive a 1099G for? Unemployment? A state or local tax refund? Taxable grant? Agriculture program payment? Something else?
