Why don't Turbo Tax W-2 boxes match actual numbered boxes on the W-2s for 2019?
Turbo Tax lists Box 2 as Federal tax withheld, but my W-2 has 2a as Taxable amount,. Federal income tax withheld is om Box 4 on my W-2. Not Box 2

Because you are trying to enter a Form 1099-R onto a W-2 for wages received from an employer. You are in the wrong section for entering a 1099-R.
To enter, edit or delete a form 1099-R -
- Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
- Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
- Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
- Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
- On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the start or update button
Or enter 1099-r in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1099-R

PLEASE disregard my question above. I am looking at a 1099-R, not a W-2. (Embarrassed!)
