Are you sure you have a 1099R? Or are you trying to enter something else as a 1099R?

And you say the box numbers do not match?

To enter your retirement income, Go to Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA 401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
